Medan - FKM USU: Nutrition Undergraduate Study Program of FKM USU conducted a field study at PT Aerofood ACS Medan, Tuesday (28 November 2023). This visit was part of the course "Institutional Nutrition Management" which aims to study food management in aviation institutions (in-flight catering). PT Aerofood ACS is an international standard in-flight catering service provider. Health Safety Environment Supervisor PT Aerofood ACS Medan, Harry L. Manurung and his team welcomed the arrival of lecturers and students from the FKM USU Undergraduate Nutrition Study Program. In this field study they explained the process of organizing food in aviation institutions, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and the Pizza Cooking Class guided by the Chef of PT Aerofood ACS Medan. The students were led by Lecturer for the "Institutional Nutrition Management" course, Dr. Ernawati Nasution, S.K.M, M. Kes. very enthusiastic about participating in this activity. Students can learn about the in-flight catering process directly in the field.
