Medan - FKM USU: Layanan Badan Pengembangan Riset Inovasi (BPRI) and Lembaga Inovasi Penulisan Ilmiah dan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (LIPIHKI) held socialization at the USU FKM Auditorium, Tuesday (13 July 2022) at the FKM USU Auditorium. The targets of this socialization activity were the Deans, Vice Deans 3, Head of Study Programs and Secretaries in 3 (three) faculties, namely the Faculty of Public Health (FKM), Faculty of Medicine, and Faculty of Nursing USU. This activity was opened by the Dean of FKM USU, Prof. Dr. Dra. Ida Yustina, M.Si. representing Vice Rector 3. Head of BPRI USU Buchari, S.T., M.Kes. on this occasion explained his work program with the theme "USU Enterprise" in 2022 which consists of Entrepreneurship Programs, Career Development, Entrepreneurship Development, Innovation and Incubation Managers and Commercialization of Innovation Products. Buchari also conveyed data on innovation and sociopreneur products from the USU academic community that have the potential to be commercialized. The Head of LIPHKI USU Prof. Dr. Erman Munir, M.Sc. conveyed the condition of USU lecturers' publications and their current citations which were still low so that LIPIHKI as a facilitator would provide assistance to lecturers to increase the number and quality of scientific publications that received national and international recognition and possessed IPR. The service scheme carried out by LIPIHKI is consultation and assistance in the preparation of scientific articles. This activity was closed by Vice Rector III of USU, Prof. Dr. Poppy Anjelisa Zaitun Hasibuan, M.Sc. apt. who hopes that the Heads of Study Programs in all faculties can coordinate with the services of BPRI and LIPHIHKI to improve innovation products and scientific publications for lecturers at USU.
